A dollar that works for a living.

xUSD is the stable unit of the Layer One X ecosystem. Every xUSD begins as a real dollar, and that dollar never sits idle. It is placed into stablecoin liquidity pools through NLO, and the receipt for that position is what stands behind the token.

What xUSD is

xUSD is a stablecoin built for one job: to be the unit the L1X ecosystem trades, saves and settles in. It pairs with WL1X on Quantum DeX, it earns inside NLO, and it moves between chains on the same rails the rest of the network uses.

It is not backed by a promise, a vault of metal, or a document you have to take on faith. It is backed by working capital.

The dollar goes to work.

When a dollar comes in to create xUSD, it does not go into a drawer.

  1. A dollar arrives. Someone brings a stablecoin from another chain to acquire xUSD.
  2. The dollar goes to work. It is deposited into NLO, which places it into stablecoin liquidity pools it monitors continuously.
  3. The receipt is kept. Every liquidity position issues an LP receipt, the on chain proof of the deposit. Those receipts are what back xUSD.
  4. The xUSD circulates. You trade it, save it, or put it to work, while the dollar behind it keeps earning in stable pools.
The backing is not a promise in a PDF. It is a position on chain.

Because the backing sits in stablecoin pools rather than idle reserves, it does something unusual for a stablecoin: it is productive. The collateral earns while the token circulates.

What you can do with xUSD

Trade it. xUSD is the base pair of Quantum DeX, the ecosystem exchange.

Save with it. Deposit xUSD into NLO and let the engine put it to work across stable pools.

Take part. Bond sales and project raises across the ecosystem settle in xUSD.

Move it. The swap rail connects xUSD to major chains. The way in is the way out.

Asked and answered.

What actually backs xUSD?
LP receipts. Each one is on chain proof of a stablecoin liquidity position created through NLO. The dollar that created your xUSD is sitting in a pool, and the receipt for it is held as backing.

Why LP receipts rather than cash in a wallet?
Idle reserves decay in usefulness and invite quiet borrowing. A liquidity position is visible, verifiable, and productive. The backing works for its living, like everything else on this network.

How do I get out?
The same rail that brought you in takes you back to a stablecoin on the chain of your choice. Convertibility is the point.

The contract

xUSD lives at one address on the L1X mainnet. Verify it before you trade, and accept no other.
